Konstantin Arbenin
Lyrics writer, performer, front man of "The Zimovye Zverei".
1968 Born in Leningrad, graduated from the secondary school #537.
When he was a kid, he made dolls for pappet show and dreamt about being animator.
All these facts greatly influences him.
1994 in "Zasada club"he held the first personal exhibition, which was unfortunately lost after club closing.In msrch 2003 he demonstrated
his works in Museum of Blok during "Moguchaya Kuchka 2003" Festival.
Arbenin's drawings were used for books illustration ("Tranzitnaya Pulya" 1998, "Skazki na zasypku" 2000, "Pisma Krasnodarskomu drugu"

Konstantin doesn't have art education, he draws when he has free time from music and literature. Works at the "Lyric caricature" genre.

I have been doing graphics science 1994.
I define the genre I create in like "situational logotype".
The graphic form of the work appeals to be a trade mark,
but with the psychological idea, not commercial or business.
For the previous time I try to minimize the expressive meanings: to avoid color and light gradations in
way to reach more constructive, black and white silhouette.
The specific of the technique lies in lack of "physical hand moving" presence.
The images are constructed in a vectorial program with the help of mouse and "Beseau line" principle. Secondly,
the works do not have the material value, it is just the paper black and white printed copies.
The first and the second options are done knowingly.
By doing this I want to "clarify" the graphic idea from the fortuity to
present in anti utilitarian and uncommercial shape which is very relevant in the time of total piracy. Hope,
the public will judge me for this, because I know the real value and originality of the engraving stamp or pictorial painting.
