Not everyone can think by the means of colors and sounds of flatter melodies. The artist Mikhail Shpagin becomes aware
of the objective reality through the prism of the cheerfully-light interpretation. His colorist compositions keep clear images of the
never ending happiness which goes from the intercourse with the world.
Shpagin chooses nature, city landscapes still life for the plot of his works.
The Space of the paintings vibrates with half-tinted splashes, dances tempting midday dances,
giving impressions of the purity and effulgent romantics.
Mikhail Shpagin graduated from the Academy of Russian ballet and worked at the Mariinsky Theater.
In his mind the reality is a timeless illusive mystery of sweat colorful reveries he lavishes himself and people around.
With the help of the direct perspective a painter introduces elements of the multi-foreshortening plot modelling into the
picture composition; he combines in his works clearness of the subject and impressionism lightness of the colorist drawing.
By his wide stroke fairy vortexes of the lines and shapes are gushing, combining massive systems of the artistic material.
The artistic manner and style is understandable and clear for the viewers. The Nature and the City appear in the pictures like
texts without ending and beginning. It brings a child's naive feeling of coming happiness. Our Aim is to view and realize this
feeling of coming happiness, to keep it in our soul and start being kinder to each other.
