Alekseev Viktor is the member of the Russian Artist Union.
He was born in 1937 in Leningrad.
In 1968 the painter graduated from the department of monumental-decorative painting in Leningrad Higher Arts-Industrial College named after Mukhina. Later he traveled a lot all over the country, made many large-scale works in such techniques as the mosaic, fresco, and woodcarving.
Viktor Alekseev painted the Moskovsky district Marriage Palace in Leningrad in 1968.
From 1972 to 1975 the painter carved the wooden ornamental panel (50 m2) in Tomsk.
He painted the recreation centre in Pikalevo in 1978.
One of his works was also the mosaic (100 m2) in Rzhev 1981-1982.
Also there were the ornamental panel on the theme of the North for the Kolsky atomic power-plant in 1982 and the mosaic on the theme of the "Korabela" (100 m2) on the butt-end of the Leningrad vocational
school ¹84 from 1982 to 1985.

Viktor Alekseev is very talented at monumental composition projecting, can work with different materials. Landscape genre is the beloved genre of the artist: he likes to paint parks, suburbs,city and countryside landscapes.
Viktor Alekseev is a participant of many exhibitions at Manezh and SPb branch of the Artist Union of Russia.
His works are found in collections all over the world: USA, Germany, Hungary , Finland, England.
